Ty's Favorite Things

I was looking through my camera tonight and I realized that about 90% of my pictures are of Ty. (I can only imagine what it will be like when I have kids!) Since I really have nothing else to do with all of these pictures, I figured I would share some of them on my blog. (lucky you, lol)

So, here are some of Ty's favorite things to do ;)

and relaxing with mom after a long day (being a puppy is a really hard job..)

And all of these are just the past week or so (imagine how many I actually have!)..

Happy Birthday Ty :)

Today is my little man's 1st birthday. When we first brought him home he was exactly 10wks old and weighed 1lb 2oz.. he was the size of a beanie baby (and that's how we came to name him Ty, since Ty makes beanie babies). It is amazing how quickly he became a part of our little family. I can't even imagine coming home everyday without seeing his cute face at the top of the stairs waiting for us or not waking up every morning to him curled up next to me.

We don't have any kids yet, so for now Ty is our baby.. and really no matter how many kids we end up having Ty will always be one of our babies :) So to celebrate our little puppy growing up (he is a whole 4lb 5oz now! haha) here are some of my favorite pictures of him throughout the year.

Our Little Man

He's a 10 month old, 4 1/2 lb Maltese named Ty. He is a hyper, adorable, crazy, lovable, spoiled rotten puppy that we LOVE like crazy.

 

Despite the occasional frustrations of having a puppy (the pain of house training in the beginning months, the climbing on mommy and daddy at 3 in the morning to play, making our shoes into his favorite chew toys, etc) he really does bring so much joy into our house. There is something so comforting about coming home after a long day and seeing his little tail wagging in excitement to see us and I just can't help but smile when I wake up in the mornings to a little fluff ball licking my nose (he does that EVERY morning when my alarm goes off). I know one day we will decide to extend our little family and have some kids, but for now Ty is our baby :)
