As I mentioned before this past Saturday was my brother-in-laws wedding. Vince and I were in the bridal party and both had a really good time celebrating with them this weekend. Here are some pictures from their special day <3

Not Me Monday

I am not really happy that my mom has been here visiting since Wednesady. I am not also super sad that she left to go back to St Louis today

I am not thankful that I got to take my mom to see where our new house will be and walk her through one of the spec homes and show her all of the different options we picked for counters/cabinets/floors/etc. I do not really like my my moms taste in decor and always appreciate her opinion when it comes to all things decorating.

I was not a little irritated last Friday when I got up at 5am to get set-up for a 7am meeting that was cancelled the night before but I didn't get the email. I did not complain about it for awhile that morning...

I was also not slightly annoyed that our power was out Thursday and Friday (plus when our power is our we don't have water either.. which made it a little difficult to get ready for the rehearsal dinner..) we did not end up having to stay at the hotel Friday night so we could be ready for all of the wedding festivities this weekend.

We did not all have a great time at Dave (Vince's brother) and Lauren's wedding on Saturday! (I have a bunch of pictures that I plan to post later today, but I haven't had the time to upload them yet)

I was not glad that it was sunny and nice on Saturday for the wedding. It may have been hot as heck, but at least it wasn't raining... I mean honestly who wants to stand outside in a bridesmaids dress taking pictures in the rain all afternoon.. not me!

It did not make it even more fun because of all of the friends from high school who were there. See how many of us there were? haha (I borrowed this picture from a friend ;))

We were not ALL completely exhausted (and slightly hungover) on Sunday.

I did not go shopping onSsunday with my mom to buy more stuff for my house that is not even built yet... haha. I did not acutally get so excited I did a little dance in the store over finding curtains in the perfect color for our kitchen and family room. lol.

I am not somewhat relieved to have a low key week at work so I can catch up on some paperwork and other fun stuff like that. ;)

1. Big Brother

 I LOVE watching Big Brother and I think if I could pick one reality show to compete in, it would be this one. (can't wait for the new season in a couple of weeks!)

2. The Hills

Ok so I know it's not a real reality show since most of it is either set-up drama or scripted haha.. BUT I would LOVE to be LC. I mean come on who wouldn't want to be a girl in high school who randomly gets picked to be on the tv show Laguna Beach and then ends up getting your on tv show in LA following you and your friends living a life of luxury... and THEN because you are now famous you get to have your own clothing line, write books and all kinds of other fun "jobs". And as an added bonus you get to hang out at with cute guys like Brody Jenner ;o)

So far the week has been going pretty well... work has been good, my brother-in-law is getting married this coming weekend, my mom is flying in tomorrow for that and I am SO excited to get to spend some time with her! Then Thursday after work all of the bridesmaids are going with the bride to the salon, Friday I am taking a half day so I can help get ready for the rehearsal dinner, and then Saturday is the wedding which I am sure will be a great time!

My Five:

1. Waking up today thinking it was only Tuesday and then realizing it was already Thursday! YAY :) I love weeks that fly by!

 2. Officially finalizing every last detail for our house. Now our job is done and we can just sit back, relax, and wait until our new home is built <3

3.Finally buying the first season of Lost. Vince and I both wanted to watch the show this season, but decided it would be better to start from the very beginning... plus since it's summer and most of the other shows we watch are on break (except for True Blood.. which was SO good last week!) it's a perfect time to start!

4. Coming across some really cute stuff for our new kitchen (place mats, napkins, dish towels, etc) that were on sale. I get super excited buying little things like that for the house and trying to imagine just how I will decorate it ;o)

5. Going to the dentist today and having NO cavities. It may not sound very exciting, but I really do get happy every time I go and don't have any issues haha.

I'm Backkkkk!

It has been over 2 weeks since I last posted and I apologize for taking off so long.. but I have been busyyyyyy. First off, I was on vacation in Florida for 10 days (SO much fun!) and when I am on vacation I try my best to stay away from the computer as much as possible (I'll admit I did update my facebook status occasionally from my phone, but that was about it). Then when we got back home we had a bunch of appointments for our house, we had to pick out all of our upgrades, options, lighting, etc. Plus work was non stop that whole week... we had 3 golf outings on top of catching up on all of the paperwork I missed from being off.. AND it was my birthday so we celebrated that as well :o)

SO anyways I am all done with house stuff (other than just waiting for it to be built obviously haha) and all caught up with work for the moment... so I am officially back to blogging! And I promise I am currently in the process of catching up on all of your blog posts that I missed! 

Well rather than bore you all with a long detailed post about everything from the past two weeks I thought it would be much better to show in pictures ;)

In Florida Vince and I rented a 3 bedroom house with our own screened in pool for the week. So since we obviously didn't need all of that room for just the 2 of us, we invited his family to come down for part of the week with us. 

The house was really cute.

Vince I spent the first couple of days before anyone else got there just relaxing by the pool, renting jet skis, and going to Universal Studios.

Then we spent Memorial day visiting my father's side of the family who all live in Florida. I miss them a lot and it was SO good to see them again!

On Monday evening Vince's family (his parents, great aunt, oldest brother and nephew) all came down and stayed until Friday. We spent those 3 days going to Disney and Sea World. 

On Friday when Vince's family left to go home, Vince and I headed over to Daytona Beach to spend the weekend at my grandparent's house. (my step dad's parents). I don't have very many pictures of that weekend other than 1 blurry phone picture of the golf course they live on.. but we had a great time catching up with them, walking on the beach, and just relaxing for a couple of days. They were also so sweet and got me a little cake and a beautiful ring for my birthday!

SO that was our 10 day vacation! We had a blast and I wish we could go back, but it was kind of nice to get home to Ty and back to our normal routine. 

I don't have pictures from the golf outings.. I should be getting some back from the event photographer soon, so if there are any worth sharing maybe I will post about that a little later!

I did get a couple of pictures from my birthday.. Vince's mom got me an ice cream cake and golf clothes (I was in serious need of some new outfits haha).. and Vince surprised me with a Michael Kors bag and pearl earrings that matched the ring my grandmother gave me. I was definitely spoiled this year ;)  Over the weekend I went to a friends bridal shower and then went out and celebrated mine and 2 of my best friends birthdays (who both had birthdays the week before me). It was a fun night out, even though we may have all regretted some of those shots the next morning ;o)

Ooook... well that should pretty much catch you up on my life over the past couple of weeks. Hope you all have been doing well! I am looking forward to finally getting to catch up with all of you and your blogs :)
